A lot of haircare brands make some pretty strong claims, yet when I inevitably give in to the hype and purchase them, they make me feel a bit… meh. Ok, so the brands have made their money so they probably don’t mind but I really wanted to find a shampoo and conditioner that really did make my hair feel and look amazing as I do have it highlighted regularly which leads to it being a bit dry. The Clarifying shampoo smells AMAZING. It smells of oranges (I’m guessing that’s the mandarin essential oils) and contains certified organic ingredients - I love the fact it’s natural haircare. The shampoo lathered up beautifully and although my hair doesn’t tend to get very greasy it really felt fresh and squeaky clean.
The Clarifying conditioner also smells fab and has an almost foamy texture rather than the creaminess you expect from a conditioner. I leave this on for about 5 minutes to really let it penetrate to the roots of my hair before rinsing it off. Also containing organic mandarin and rose extracts it really makes my hair feel smooth and sleek on top of fresh and clean - even more so when I brave the curl and let my hair dry naturally.
